My grandmother and aunt ...Bunions run in my family. My grandmother and aunt both had theirs removed, but my mum refused and I can honestly say her feet are now far, far, worse than yours. To look at them, you wonder how she can actually walk, so you're doing the right thing embarking on surgery. Fortunately I have (almost) escaped the bunion gene (just a very small one.)
